The “Sand on a sill”
international collaborative research project


Teachers who are teaching Earth science across the world are invited to consider taking part in the “Sand on a sill” research project. This project is being undertaken by Chris King, Emeritus Professor of Earth Science Education at Keele University, UK, on behalf of and supported by members of the International Geoscience Education Organisation (IGEO).

Before you decide whether or not you wish to take part, it is important for you to understand why this research is being done and what it will involve. Please take time to read this information carefully and discuss it with friends and relatives if you wish. Please ask us if there is anything that is unclear or if you would like more information.
